Now that the skies are dark and dreary again, we thought we'd help you get back in the mood with some color-free imagery from our part of Capitol Hill. In addition to this cool rendition of Victrola's counter, Flickr user yelahneb, btw, has posted many great shots from around the 'hood, color and non-color. She's also a Remedy Teas fan so what's not to like?

Hello! My name is Katia Roberts and I'm a local photographer as well as a capitol Hill resident. I live on 18th and Pine. Just wanted to say that I think the Victrola is a haven of good photo opps. Here's my best shot from there thus far:

hi CHS; thanks for the props! you picked two of my favorite haunts to feature - much appreciated. oh, by the way - i hope it doesn't come as too much of a disappointment, but i'm actually a boy, not a girl. i can dress up accordingly, though, if it will help keep things consistent... :)
