street art
One of the things I love best about living on the hill is all the street art I see up here. I hate the tags(could they at least keep it off the windows?!!!), but the artwork on the backs of street signs, on telephone poles, and along the sidewalk is really cool. It changes almost daily. Whoever put the googly eyes on the inanimate objects is a genius, I love the sidewalk squid on Summit(I think it's on Summit), and last year I saw some Knitta action(the kids who knit around street objects). So very cool. :) This city rocks, though I do wish there were some dedicated spots for people to post their work on. I don't think that would stop the taggers, who just spray their territory like animals, but it would give the non destructive artists a good place to express themselves better.
