Did you get your Capitol Hill Station postcard?

Here we go. Get ready for eight years of tearing down, digging and putting back up. It's also Day Without a Gay, though, so if you skip this meeting, you are forgiven. Me? I'll be busy doing this. Let me know how the kick-off goes.

Sound Transit Construction Preparation Meeting: Capitol Hill Station

Where: Seattle Central Community College, Room 1110
What: Please join us! – Construction of the Capitol Hill light rail station is beginning soon. In early 2009, Sound Transit’s contractor will begin the demolition and environmental remediation of the station site. To keep you informed about the upcoming construction, Sound Transit will be hosting frequent community meetings on a regular basis. Come to the kick-off event to meet the Sound Transit construction staff, learn about the schedule of construction activities and ask questions about the work.
