Man charged in alleged Broadway bus stop sex crime

Central District News has details on charges of felony indecent exposure brought against David Craig Martin who was arrested on Broadway last week for allegedly masturbating at a bus stop near Seattle Central:

Martin told police during his arrest last week that he had no memory of masturbating in the bus stop, saying he was "sitting there waiting for the bus, and then the police showed up." When told that a woman had seen him engaged in the act, he said he "wouldn't be surprised" since "it's happened before." In addition to the positive ID from the witness, police found the suspect equipped with Vaseline-brand hand cream and noticeably greasy hands.

CDNews reports that police have been looking for a suspect for weeks for his involvement in similiar incidents across the Hill and on Madison.
