Kirkland Cocktail Coat Drive Event to help Seattle homeless stay warm “WARMING COMMUNITIES…ONE COAT AT A TIME” Kirkland, WA, Thursday, November 5th, 2009 7:00-9:00pm – The need has never been greater and it’s never been more fun to make a difference in our community. Here is your opportunity to make sure that nobody goes without such a basic necessity as a coat this winter. “Warming Communities…One Coat at a Time” is collecting clean, gently used coats for men, women and children. All coats will be donated to Real Change Homeless Project and Eastside Baby Corner, non-profit organizations that distribute coats free of charge directly to local children and adults in need. We have made donating coats for the homeless simple and fun! Just bring your clean, gently used coats and jackets to Lucia’s Italian Restaurant & Bar in Kirkland (222 Park Place Center, Kirkland, WA) on Thursday, November 5th, 6:00-8:00 pm. For every coat you donate, you can enter a drawing to win fun items which includes, $100.00 gift certificate courtesy of Pearl Restaurant in Bellevue, $550.00 teeth whitening courtesy of Smile Artistry, $50.00 gift certificate courtesy of Tini Bigs in Seattle, $175.00 Microderm facial courtesy of Madison Skin & Laser Center, Holiday Play tickets courtesy of CITY ARTS MAGAZINE and ENCORE PERFORMING ARTS PROGRAMS, as well as many other exciting items.
